Whistler is opening early - November 17

ummmm is this Jake or Sandy?

I THINK WE ALL KNEW IT WAS OPENING SATURDAY BROOOO

but even still, the snow's shit. have fun riding ice from the roundhouse to the bottom of red and green chair. you probably won't be able to ski out unless temperatures drop, which would be a miracle, and... i make more snow for you

fuck me i got kind of fucked over on getting my pass on time, looks like ill be skinning up for a while

all the tourist and the people who stayed up all night usually go down by like 12-1 cause its so busy tho. its just fun going up for opening day cause everyone is just sooo stoked!

Edit uploading right now.

raining at the bottom of emerald pretty much. wind as fuck up top. barely any snow. not the greatest opening day...

yup hahaha oh well hopefully is snow a bit more timing and tommor is less wind/cloudy

2 ride on flat boxes1 short down rail

1 tower rail as a canon

1 big tower rail horizontally across the slope

i hope they set a little bit more up soon.

Blackcomb is opens tomorrow and catskinner is running so expect at least one jump and multiple rail/box features over there. Whistler will probably stay the same. maybe they'll add another rail.

^ Sorry bud I can't help you out. But in other news no pass needed for HL park anymore just a helmet

how is the park now? got kind of fucked around this year with getting my pass, so im still waiting to get it, but wondering if itd be worth hiking just to ski the park, seeing as the alpine/bc isnt really an option right now

I haven't been up since last weekend but the park is alright, a couple decent size jumps and mostly rails not sure if I would hike to ski it but I'm lazy as fuck

***If weather and avalanche conditions permit. ill be surprised if they do open... they are getting heaps of snow and the avi danger is at high.
