Whistler in the Summer is it worth it if youre not going to a camp?

So im looking at maybe going to Whistler for Summer Park skiing but I was just wondering if you not going to COC is the amount Public space you get worth even going?
 
It's worth it if you can do it cheap. It's just a short lane with a few ails and a couple of med jumps later. If you can live in town for cheap and can get a night job or something why not, it's skiing in summer. And once aug hits you can hit up the bike park until it's winter again.
 
Well if it's a family trip and you are there anyway why not. It's fairly cheap. You will not want to spend all 2 weeks up there though. Go try the bike park, try biking round the valley, do some hikes, go swim in the lakes, paddle the river of golden dreams ect ect. There is so much to do in whis in summer it's arguably better then winter.
 
spent all last summer ripping the public park last year, it's 100% worth it, they change the park every week, and the vibe is crazy. rails are better then momentum, the jumps are not the biggest but they are really fun. go for it
 
Damn I didn't even know it was open tot he public. Too bad i live in mass and my parents wouldn't wanna pay to go there. Definitely sounds like something I'd do later in life though.
