I am on the list for staff housing and have been so since July however I am yet to hear anything. Should I be concerned? If so what is the best bet to find something to stay in for the season that is reasonably priced?

there's lots of types of "lists" are you on one of those "wait" lists? or the approved list? If you're on a wait list, you should have been searching for housing alongside staff, because, even if you get offered in the end, you can always decline with no repercussions. Housing in whis runs out fast, might already be too late for you, but git er done bud

You can probably get a really nice tent and sleeping bag for the price of one or two months rent in Whistler, or a van for that matter.
