Whistler Conditions

Hey sorry to post-whore...going to whistler in 34 days. Just wanted to know what the conditions were like from someone local...keep reading about forcasts of rain, really, really hoping that local forcasts call for a big dump or 2 here in the short future, any help?

 
Sorry to break it to you, but BC has been quite warm in this past week and the hills have gotten rain, so if anyone is planning to come to BC this weekend maybe you should save your money and come another weekend.

34 days huh? Better pray it gets cold and dumps some white. Dire everywhere here in the Northwest up into BC.

 
Its been raining here for 4 days now, like really raining pretty hard.

If you're not coming for a while, hopefully you'll be ok. Anyone coming this weekend, i'd get ready for a pretty crappy time!

I would recommend the beer. With as much rain and warm temps in the NW and BC lately the snow sucks. Better yet don't come and save your time and money untill condition inprove or wait till next year.

 
Dude, you are from Ohio, you'll be fine, in fact you'll still love it while hordes of other tourists and local snow snobs declare they are over it. Enjoy.

 
I was there back in 2002, loved it, nearly killed myself on the bootpack up to Spankys, and then again on the way down...but it doesn't sound like I'll have that chance again. Usually I head out to SLC to hit up Alta and the bird, was a toss up this year. Guess the dime landed on the wrong side this time.

I was there over christmas, they were tellin me that that was the worst it had been in like 20 years. Nothing was open on blackcomb below the wizard. Disgusting
