Whistler clubs

I will be in Whistler the 9-13 of January. Not including lift tickets and lodging, how much money should I bring? I plan on going to the clubs but don't realy know how much money to bring since I am not old enough (19) to legally drink in the states and I am assuming everything is going to be alot more ther. The only meals I plan on buying are dinner and possibly lunch.

I was also wondering if any locals had any advice on good clubs and cheap food. Also, does anyone know if the Fireside Lodge Hostel is any good? Thanks.

Thats kind of what I thought. I've never been to a club since I think its pointless to go to one in the states when you can't drink. Is it worth it to go or would we be better off to just buy a bottle and take it to our room?

agreed. the village is fucking out of control right now. not to say that buddy who started this thread isn't chill, but all the latest whistler-wannabes need to chill the fuck out.

Wooohoooo for all the fresh meat... they're all pissing their rent money away in the bars while desperately trying to find places to stay.

Good luck.

Don't buy a lunch everyday. Go to the small grocery store in the village or whatever and get a loaf a bread, turkey, and some mustard. That will cost you probably under 15 bucks. Bring bottled water with you on the mountain, and your good for a week.

You know, I never looked at it that way, but it totally makes sense.

I just saw it and was like "MOST AWESOME AVATAR EVARRRR!"

Speaking of clubs, I read somewhere the the Longhorn is one of the highest grossing bars in North America. Although it doesnt surprise me when they charge 20 bucks for a pitcher of beer and every fuckwit tourist goes there.

A friend used to manage at LH for 5+ years, they sell more redbull and more corona per year than ANY other bar or restaurant in North America.

Corona is a horrible, girly beer that tastes like piss. And red bull is demon spawn. So the fact that Longhorns sells a fuckload of those doesnt surprise me, based on their clientele (sp?)

Kip as far as meals go....my mom sent me a whole bunch of hamburger patties....so if sumone brings a mini grill....we would be pretty good to go. oh and my freind tana mite come...so thats one more person to help pay for hotel rooms...i talked to drew tonite....talk to him when yall go jib at Andys house.

just go to that mongolian grill place and make sure youre hungry enough to eat enough food to break the record ( i think its around 9 pounds). if u make the top 10 its free. and you wont have to eat for 3 months hahaha
