WHATUP NS!

I'm headed out to vancouver this weekend to check out UBC and Simon Fraser University on monday. Luckily, tuesday my dad and I get to shred whis for the day! I can't decide if I should bring my park skis or my pow skis. The weather said it would be snowing the monday before I skid but im just not sure how much.

Also, i know the blackcomb park is now open. Does that mean you need a park pass to get in it? I did this last year but it was only to let you in to hit the bigger features. Do they have any big jumps up?

Pow skis or park skis, help me decide. thanks!

I was up Blackcomb on Saturday. The Blackcomb blue park has one poorly built step up (even straightlining from the top of the inrun couldn't help clear it). There are quite a few boxes and rails set up, including a picnic table.

The black park had public acess on Saturday. There were 3 large jumps set up that looked real nice.

new pics of the park look amazin on whistlers site!

would anyone wanna meet up? If so I'll bring my video camera so we can get some shotttss. tuesday.

Was up on blackcomb yesterday, it was a park day and will be for a while.. the pack is super hard.

Blue park is pretty sick, coming in you start of with

Small kicker

Mellow down box

ski down the hill a bit.

there a hip/pyramid thing and the option of a transfer into the tranny if you stick left.

after that comes a shit load of jibs

another down box

up butterbox with like a 4-5 foot drop off the end

another down box

flat box

sooo on. its pretty dope.. landings are pretty hard though. so don't chew it. hahaha

park crew told me that the high level park will be open tomorrow. so you will need a pass for that. suuuper hard pack right now but it's all fun shreddin with bros

Yeah just to verify what Liam said..

Saw this on facebook this morning.

"Whistler Blackcomb: Another bluebird day without a cloud in the sky. Come check out the

highest level park on Blackcomb mountain, it's officially open today!

Don't forget your park pass and helmet!"

So yeah, you're going to need a park pass.

i can verify its full on hardpack, fell off the rail on wednesday, hit my head/shoulder on the icy snow blow, and got airlifted immediately to vancouver where ive been in a coma for 3 1/2 days!!!!! seriously the fact that i invested in a helmet this season is probably the sole reason im alive right now......

fingers crossed we get some snow this weekend as forecast!!

Damn, a coma with a helmet on. They weren't kidding when they said it's bulletproof.

Get better soon so you can get back up.
