Hello fellow NSers

I'll be moving to Whistler this upcoming season, and I'm looking for opinions on staff-housing, and what the general consesus is, with when to move up there.

I'm turning 19 during Crankworx this year, so I'll be able to party when I actually live in town, and I've already got a SnowMaking job lined up.

What I'm looking for is people with experience to share, that could possibly help me on the adventure I'm about to take on. As well as, looking to see if any other NSers will be looking to stay in staff. I'm curious if it's possible to get a staff apartment with people of your choice, because than we could all live with like-minded people, rather than being placed into a room with 3 other people who might have completely different goals and desires. Just a thought.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Feel free to message me if you're planning on moving to Whistler this year as well

Thanks!

I got a job as a ski instructor and I'm living in residence but I don't really have any idea of which building I'm staying in or what not, I guess you could email them with requests. I would be down to chill with you though.

you're going to want a house, but staff is the easiest and most reliable to get into. I'm interested in getting a place as well, since staff is ghetto as fuck, so hit me up. we just gotta find more people to split rent

hey im new to this and this will be my first trip, so just looing for anyone that needs to organise a house still or know of anyone or places i can look

Cheers

Yo guys!

I would be so down for this. I was in Whistler last season and i was in staff housing. Its fine for a couple of weeks but after a while it gets pretty unbearable as they do not have much room at all and usually quite a lot of stuff is broken when you move in. But thats just my experience! I would say that a house in Creekside is the best bet. It would be sweet to have a bunch of homies to live with!

Hit me up on Facebook if you are game: http://www.facebook.com/kerr.mcewen . Im from Scotland btw but im coming to Whis on the 14th of November.

Peeaace.

So down for splitting a house with NS people! Im doing atleast a season in Whistler if i get a job there!

As I wrote sky-high, I have several houses in Whistler and Creekside.

Write me message and tell me how many you are, I'll see what will work out the best.

I'm planning on coming out to whistler in February and rating through to the summer. Starting to look for a place, hit me up if you or anyone you know needs a roommate.

Im flying in this tuesday maybe wednesday if my flight gets rebooked due to Hurricane Sandy

I live in North Vancouver and make the trek to and from Whistler every week. Usually up there 3-4 days for Friday and the weekend. Don't mind giving rides, and my 4runner can fit 4 with gear. Bonus: It has its snow tires on now.

I have a viewing of a 3/4bedroom house this monday at 2pm out in Emerald. MSG me if anyone wants to tag along.

Rent would be $425+Utilities
