Whistler 09/10 season

hey me and my buddy are doing a working season in whistler and we are trying to find accomodation from around early october till the end of the season, have any of u guys got any contacts or any infomation , would be super helpful also if any of u are doing a season coz would be pretty sweet to meet up especially if ur from the UK..... thanks

in all honesty your best bet is to get here now. if you arrive in october you almost surely wont find a place to live. its the olympics, and alot of long time locals are losing their houses, not to mention one-season-wonders.

if you do manage to find a place though, you wont have any trouble meeting people from the uk.

look for a guy called rowan hobson on facebook, tell him jack whelan sent you. hes from england, as am i, and he did a season there least year, and may be again next year. he could give you some useful info. his profile pic is someone hitting a table in whistler, you should be able to find him!

me and a couple of friends from the uk were thinking of doing a season in whistler but chose banff instead cos its so much cheaper and easier without olympics

yes if all else fails try somewhere else. Ya gotta have faves outside of whistler...I do...

we (myself and two friends) have the same idee. we like to go to whistle next season but we arent sure because of the olympics. do some of you know better places to ski (in canada). and where the town is also fun to live?

lots of good skiing, Kicking Horse, Revelstoke, Banff (Sunshine, Lake Louise, Norquay), Big White, Sunpeaks, Jasper (Marmot Basin). List goes on, Banff is good times, a little les disneyland than whister and the town is still fun.

if your gonna come here, best bet is to wait till 10-11 season cuz this one is gona be stupid busy

move to a smaller place like golden BC(kicking horse) or revelstoke

both rad BC pow resorts. epic skiing.
