all right, so i'm looking for a new pair of skis. i'm looking for an awesome park ski since i spend most of my time in the park. i know the thalls are more expensive but is it worth the extra money? right now i have 2010 line chronics but they got pretty chipped up so idk if i want to stick with line. this is only my second season with them too.

thanks

Yes its worth he money. The afterbangs will not last as long as the thalls, not to mention the hundred other upsides the thall has over the afterbang. I have a pair of 2005 t halls that still hold up strong after water ramping and everything. That bein said, Im on ar7s right now which is pretty much the same ski, and it is the best ski I have ever ridden.

really either ski will be fine. afterbangs are a little more poppy, thalls will hold up better on landings. depends what you want

If you can afford thalls go with those. If you're on a tight budget get abangs but in the long run I think you will be a lot more satisfied with the armadas.

those skis are basically non-comparable the T-hall is out of the afterbangs league quality wise!! That being said there are some big dollar differences between these two skis, so get whatever you can afford. Also how beat up are your chronics because if the topsheet is just chipped should still be fine (then you can just save up for the thalls if you cant afford them now).

T hall please. This is my first year skiiing so i picked up some afterbangs for cheap. I had 20 days on them before my tip delamed, twice. Now i have AR7s and they are amazing, go with Armada, trust me.

T-Hall between those skis without a doubt, but if your chronics are only chipping on the topsheet I would say stick with them.

deff go with the t halls they look sick and are a great ski the afterbangs might looks cool but they are super heavy and i know many people that had them and changed skis because they didnt like them...

check out my new thread about next years t hall boots maybe the skis will match +K for help

Im going to get the ar7, but i dont know what size to get. I could either get the 176 or 181. I am 6'2 215 lbs and i currently ride 169cm. k2 extremes. I am also really good outside the park but i want to get into the park. People tell me that i should get the 181 but im not sure. +++++k for your opinion.

Depends but i would go 176 because i like the shorter ski imo, it fits me personally. But if you like longer skis then go 181, it is all preference.

yeah i think 176 would make the most sense.. One of the guys on here was begging me not to get the 176 but thats dumb. How can i be alright skiing a 169cm ski and then dread going to a 176cm ski. 176cm will be long enough

Just to tell you i can get the 181cm ar7 for cheap or the thall in a 181cm for cheap. I am having a tough time deciding between the two. Again, i am 6'2 215 lbs looking for a good park ski. I am currently riding the 2010 k2 extreme in a 169cm length mounted center with marker griffons. I havent skiied in the park but i really want to when i get the thall or the ar7. I am also very good outside the park. (i havent really laid one foot in the park) So im just having a tough time deciding between these two skis. ++++k for any suggestions on what to get.

I love my abangs. Don't let people talk you out of them. I've been skiing them hard in the park all year and they're holding up fine. My bro has thalls and they also seem dope. If you wanna save some money and still have great park skis, get the abangs.

Well i had abangs this year, and it is my first year skiing since i was 5, i just switched back from snowboarding this year. I rode them for 25 days in the park and they delamed twice on me. They were fun but DONT put money into the afterbangs. I wanted to get a ski to last so i got ar7s and they are so money, i have put 25 days on them and there is nothing wrong with them at all. They also handle better on every feature i hit. So yes i have experience with both, and I will never buy another line product again because of the false marketing they do with the afterbangs. I cant imagine whatelse they market that is "made to last"

Sparknotes: First year riding this year, abangs delamed on me, i now have ar7s, they are money, dont buy line

my brother snapped his armada el reys in one session at windells. If you break a ski, it doesn't mean that the manufacturer is bad. You just had a bad experience.

Oh so about 30 other newschoolers that have had abangs that also delamed just happened to also have a bad experience? No, they are just really shitty quality/bad construction. Skate decks and water dont go well together so why would you do that to a ski?

Do you honestly think a proven ski manufacturer like line would make a ski that can get waterlogged? Obviously they know their skis are going to get wet. I can't believe people still think this.
