Which Trailer Park Boys episode is the best...

...to show to someone who has never seen the show before. I've tried this before from Episode 1 and received bad results (although it was an English dude, and those guys suck at TV). I need an episode that captures the essence of the characters in a way that wont just confuse them, and wont require you to know the characters to understand the jokes.

the first episode i ever saw was the one with bubbles stealing the shopping carts so they could put the hash in the handles of the shopping carts not sure which episode that is but it was very funny
 
"Closer to the Heart" is my all-time favorite TBP episode. One of the best TV moments ever at the end of this episode, I think.

 
i dont think you can just show one episode and expect people to love it.

it just kind of grows on you as the characters develop.

but worst case ontario, show them the one where they sneak into rush.
 
Honestly its kind of an acquired taste. I found myself asking why I was watching it through Season 1 and then midway through Season 2 I started to get what it was about and now I'm addicted. It gets funnier the more you watch and appreciate.

Same for me. I started realizing how funny it was in the episodes where they blurred out the cats faces. So funny if you think about it.

I agree, I remember seeing my brother watch it saying "this is so stupid" well my summer boredom led me to be quoting the show everyday and getting through all the netflix seasons in 2 weeks. Conky is definitely one of my favorites and success auto body
