Which Tahoe Resort is the best for a season pass?

I'm trying to decide where to get a pass in the Tahoe area. Northstar / Sierra Double Whammy or Kirkwood are on my list so far. anyone have any thoughts on where to get a pass? It's El Nino winter, so we should be getting dumped on so good pow terrain is a must...

I had a double whammy pass because it's only 299 restricted. So that's a pretty damn good price.

ya i have the same one and its only restricted at northstar and at sierra its unrestricted its such a good deal expecially if you buy the vertical plus for another 100 it's so worth the money to be able to skip the lines at northstar

If I skied Tahoe I would definitely consider that. Sierra is better for pow anytime and you don't want to be at Northstar on the restricted dates anyways. Works out perfectly.

Or, the Alpine/Homewood pass.

If youre in south lake? well.. i guess that sucks for you.. but whatevs.

I would choose the Squaw College pass over the Northstar one though. Squaw FTW.
