Which skis have THE MOST durable edge

im talkin density and which type of metal is used and whatever skis have a reenforced edge(dont quite know what that means but ive heard it thrown around and im sure its a good thing)

im rockin 08/09 k2 extremes. they dont see any hardcore park use, just some rails and boxes now and then. the edges are still immaculate.

ON3P Filthy Richs have the thickest edges I've ever seen on a park ski...and they're mint...usually by this time of the season I'm looking at getting a new pair of skis cause the edges are so screwed up, my FRs have 2 edge cracks total (only 1 of which came from rails).

most companies use the heat treated steel called rockwell 45. which is used by armada, liberty, and quite a few other comapies

I'm retiring my old salomon suspects that i've had for a long time and the top sheets are pretty beat up put the edges are still mint

I would say anything K2 as well. maybe line also? my older armadas from before 08 (AR5, AR6, and pipe cleaners) have better edges than my 11' AR7s. the AR7s have seen about 60 days and have 7 edge cracks, where as the other 3 have 7 combined. my 05' public enemys have 1

Yeah K2 has a 3.5mm edge instead of the usual 2.5. Not sure how much of a difference 1mm makes but K2 would be my best bet.

k2's edges are the best on the market from any of the big manufactures, but you also have to deal with everything else being shitty

K2 has 2x2mm edges atleast on domain.

Delammed my domains and had to cut the edge. I can't find a single measurement of 3.5mm. My line skis has fatter edges.

Edges are measured by different companies in different ways, some include teeth, some do not.

ON3P uses a 2.5mm by 2.5mm edge bar, not including teeth. Its ground a bit when we structure and finish the skis, but its the thickest we can get our hands on, and its Rockwell 48. If you are wondering difference between different types, higher the number the harder the material. Some may say that softer is better for impact vs harder, but so far as I know, nobody has done a published study on ski edges and rails to date.
