Sorry for one of these threads, but I wanted to know what you guys' thoughts were on these two different skis, and which i should buy. Im 6'4" and about 185 pounds. I am looking for a ski that could handle park, and a little bit of all mountain as well, so anywhere from 60-80% park, and 20-40% all mountain. I already have hellbents, and a pair of silencers as well.

First is the CoreUPT Candid Yard ski. It is 181 cm, and 230 dollars. It's on level nine sports. Here is the link: http://www.levelninesports.com/Coreupt-2010-Candide-Yard-All-Mountain-Twin-Tip-Skis. I'm not sure what year they are, but they are new.

Second is a pair of 181 Armada AR7s, and they are about 175 dollars. They are used, and show normal signs of wear and tear apparently. They have been mounted once, and I am not sure where, or what binding was used.

Also, where would you recommend mounting the skis that you suggest I get? I appreciate the help. I pretty much give 10/10s to all good answers.

yeah unfortunately i can't get a good deal on those anywhere right now, so I'm just looking at the two above. Thanks anyways though. Any other recommendations from anybody?

I would have said the ar7s had they not been so worn. New is new. But if the ar7s still have good edges then go with those. I may be biased having skiied armada for the past three seasons though. If your going to be doing mostly park then just center mount your bindings

Back in my jibbing days, my friends who had Armadas (I was a 4FRNT kid) absolutely loved them. Whenever I borrowed them for a run or an afternoon or what have you, I was always impressed. Obviously that was a while ago (~4 years), so something could have changed, but I haven't read anything.

I haven't seen much about durability problems either, so I would have to say go for the Armadas. Take a close look, obviously, but it seems like a good deal. If they haven't been absolutely trashed, they will last a while.

Maybe do a search on both companies in the forums and see if you come up with negative stuff/complaints about either company.

I've heard good things about the ar7, so if you want a solid park ski that will rip out of the park than go with the ar7+k

apparently they only show normal wear, and no signs of rail abuse, which is a plus. sounds like i should go with the armadas. will center mounting them feel weird to ski on outside of the park since they aren't symmetrical?

hey man if you can save yourself some bank and they are in good condition then id recommend them. However just from your post you sound like you havent seen them yet. Id deff at least get some pictures if for whatever reason you cant go take a look at them yourself.

As far as the center mounting goes itll take a little bit of adjusting to sure. But after a while you wont even notice it.
