Which ski for me?

I'm looking for a park ski with a fairly low swing weight, but a fair amount of flex. I love the butters.

I've been skiing for about 4 years, and had 3 different pairs of Trouble Makers. I've always liked them on rails, stable off jumps, but they seems pretty stiff to me.

I'm pretty big, 6'3 - 195, usually skied a 182-186.

Are there other, softer skis out there? Should I look for a shorter ski and give that a try with my height/weight? Are Trouble Makers known as a soft ski and I just fail at buttering?

Help.

Dude with your size I am surprised that you were unable to butter on TM's. After 5 days mine became so buttery and I am 5'9" 140 lbs.

Might have been a user error.

But if you want to try something else out, Anthems might be an option even though they will feel like wet pasta noodles on your feet.

I can butter okay, but every time I try to flex pretty hard - on my tips for instance, it feels like the back of my knees are going to injure themselves.

But user error is probably a pretty safe bet too.

Yes, the Anthems are sadly no more, buttt line released a new park ski called the step-up. It gives you the skateboard deck construction just like the afterbang, but from what I have heard it is much more of a stiffer ski. I do not know for a fact but I have heard one of the volkl skis are great for buttering..someone might have to correct me but i think its the wall?..maybe.

Yes! thanks for that i knew i was wrong, I am going to be riding the bluehouse antics and from every review i have sen they are very playful so you might want to look into them

the antics would be way too soft for someone of his size, the walls would be fine since volkl made them slightly softer so he'll be able to butter and with the length of 185 is perfect
