Which Phone... BB vs LG

I'm going to buy a new phone and sign a contract right away and thought I'd post this up. I think it's down to two different phones.

This looks to be the better phone since its more expensive and all my friends tell me its the shit. It is also free with a 3yr contract.

This phone has 1gb that comes with it and also has a sliding keypad that would make texts easier. I'm thinking it might break easier tho cause of the moving parts. PLus it'll still cost me 70 bones with the 3yr contract.

Leaning towards the BB... what does ns think. Anyone have these phones?
 
I don't have a Black Berry but I hear they are pretty much the shit. You can summon fucking dragons to fight bullies with that shit.
 
for verizon, ( i dont know about your company) with the blackberry you have to pay 30$ to blackberry, that is in addition to your regular monthly charge with your service company
 
i have 2 friends with teh venus and its not bad. not my favorite though.

blackberry would be sweet once you get used to all teh controls bvut really small keys.

i suggest getting a different phone alltogether though cause 3 yr contracts suck, balls.
 
hahaha oh my God, thats one of the funniest things said on NS for years. thats great. maybe its funnier because i have one, but its great.
 
It depends on how you are going to use the phone. I have a BB 8310. I love it, you can download all kinds of apps to use. It has GPS also. I downloaded the weather channel, yellowbook, visual voicemail, wikimobile, and the list goes on and on....i text a lot and use it for my three email accounts and the qwerty keyboard is so nice compared to the itap method. I would go the bb 8310. if you are using it just to goof around then go with the one.
 
really i wouldn't look into the money aspect. in 3 years you're going to hate those phones so much. get a good ass phone.
 
get the LG dare. just because. but if you are looking for a BB i say wait for the Thunder, it looks really good as far as BB's go and i'm not really a fan of them... but seriously, look at the Lg dare and tell me its not badass.
 
They don't even know anything about the thunder yet except a picture. How can people already know it's going to be good? Chances are it will lack in response just like every other touch screen but the iphone. I hope not, but that seems to be a trend. I'm a huge BB supporter but I don't know if the Thunder is a good idea.
 
if you can, buy a samsung blackjack 2. its the same as a blackberry but comes without the shitty blackberry fee.
 
I have the blackjack II. It has its minor flaws like any other phone but I really like it and it works well. On top of that it is super affordable for a smart phone
 
I just got the BB Curve with verizon and it fucking kills it. I love it.

I would have love to wait until the bold comes out later this year, because it is going to be even sicker, but my phone was completely fucked and I just needed to get something.

I would highly recommend the BB.
