Which length of the ski

i am 5´7-8 inch and what length of the ski should i get i wants line chronic cryptonite should i go for the 173cm or the 163 cm if i choise 173 i think they like taller then me ?
 
this, if you are still growing there it sucks having to buy a new set of sticks just because you grew out of them so fast. It can also make you a better skier riding longer skis (to a degree). They will also be more stable in the air and on rails but it will be more effort to butter, spin and pop onto rails with the longer length unless you are strong enough for them.
 
i got 163 chronic crypts a few weeks ago and im like an inch or two taller then you and i weight 145-150 but its just preference. both will be fine for you just it depends if you like a shorter or longer ski. and if u know u will grow more then get bigger. like if ur dad is huge and ur still young go bigger but im pretty much done growing and i like a shorter ski that i can manuver so it depends but i went 163. i also rode 175 last year and they felt really heavy and long. they were 08 rossi scratch sprayer. i was pretty overpowered by them so it depends what u like. my old skis were pretty much as tall as me and my new ones come to my nose. but if you wanna go bigger the chronic crypts dont have bad swing weight and such so it wont be as overpowered as i was with the rossis.
