Which bindings?

If you ever have the option of going FKS/Pivot, I would suggest going with it. Sure, the FKS 140 toe piece is plastic, but it still the best shit out there.

I've had Jesters and Pivots, and I prefer the Pivots. The release is more knee friendly and there's less pre-release.

Also they look cooler.

Why the Jester Pros instead of regular Jesters? I've got both FKS 140s and Jesters and think that each have their advantages and disadvantages.

On really wide skis, 120+, I like the jesters because of the wider mounting pattern, also I find it easier to hike with them in the park because the heel is a lot easier to release in my opinion and the flat front is nice on your shoulder if you are carrying them.

That being said, I think the FKS might have a little better boot retention, although I have never really had any prerelease problems with my Jesters.

Just my opinion and unless you need the 18 DIN (seems like you dont because you are considering the 140s) I would just get normal jesters because they have a sliding AFD plate and the Pros dont.

Good luck!
