Which 2012 Model Full Tilt's would YOU buy?

leik, im not sure, i really like the red and black ones but i leik tom alot so i want his boots casue the tongues are dope. what ones should i get what one will look better with my saga suit and line afterbangss.

seriously, they are boots... not a fucking shoe.

kidding tho im a complete hypocrite. i already have dropkicks, they're too fresh but they also fit my feet amazingly

I have the gnarliest 6th toe from four months in full tilts. Once I went in to a shop to finally get them blown out, the boot fitter told me that the plastic was too cheap and shitty to blow it out because the bolt holes would warp and not work properly if we blew the boot out even a little bit.
Full Tilt is a lot of hype and good marketing.

The full tilt plastic isnt cheap and shitty, but it is different to the normal type that is used in boots. Thats what gets them so light. But yes, you cannot really push the shell beacuse the plastic doesnt hold the new shape well.

If you have normal feet that are thin enough then full tilts are great, but if you have thin, wierd feet then i would say dalbellos are better because you can push the shell out.

Looks like you bought right into it...so fast you didn't even get FITTED FOR THEM.
Thats like saying: I bought an Oakley jacket online...XXL!!! wtf it doesn't fit me?? Oakley sucks all they have is good marketing...lol

I went into a shop and got fitted, they seemed all right at the time. It was only on one spot on my right foot that became a problem about 50 skiing days later. However, when I bought the boot, I made the ridiculously silly assumption that I could do boot work on them if i needed it.
Bottom line, any boot worth any amount of money should be able to stand up to boot work - especially something as minor as less than a centimeter of blow out on the outside of the boot. Yes, I clearly bought in to the marketing, but it's not like I expected magic boots. I only expected to at very least be able to do things like minor modifications and blowouts. I was wrong.

Idk, The Hot Doggers are ridiculously Gangster, and i try not to be a thug XXXXL wearing guy,

I think im gonna go with the Dropkicks.

We had a real hard time working out what the real-world difference between the Hot Dogger and the Drop Kick is, especially after you throw away the cable covers.

Both have active foot boards, same flex tongue... only difference we could find is the Hot Dogger liner is a little thicker and stiffer. My friend ended up going with Drop Kicks.

The liner in the hot doggers are much better. Its also stiffer.

I am pretty sure the drop kicks have a flex 4 and the Hd have a flex 6.

your boot-fitter doesn't know what he is talking about. you can totally stretch the plastic on an FT. now, there are some areas that won't stretch as well as an overlap design (ankle areas are difficult), but it's because of the 3 piece design in general not the plastic type.

if its only a tiny amount of extra room you need in the boot, you can grind the inside of the boot with a dremel drill too!? Its super easy on FTs because with the tongue off you can easily get into the toebox.
I agree though, I blew out FT boots a few times - they just retract more than a standard boot because of the 3 peice shell design.
another option is to cut a bit of the liner to increase space that way.....

Think i'll wait and try on the 2012 models before making any decisions

Yeah we worked out the liner bit - my friend has very odd feet and found the DK's were more comfortable and at the end of the day that's what wins.
But yeah, as for the tongues - they both had 6's, and it's not like someone had swapped a HD tongue into it since they're colour-matched.
He has pretty big feet though, maybe the larger sizes get stiffer tongues? Would make sense - big foot = big rider.

First Chairs, all about the all black..... Luckily I already have a pair that are amazing.

I heard that the 2012 First Chairs have an 8 flex tongue instead of the 10 that mine came with. This true?

Well it would've been the Seth, but they made it the exact same as the Konflict this year (imo that's just silly, a pro-model boot brought down because kids thought it was too stiff, I mean really.)

I'd have to go konflicts, just because I love the golden brown. But most likely going to stick with my Seths so i don't have to break in a new pair and go down to softer tongues.

So the Seth has no metal buckles now??

From what I understood, last year, the Seth and First Chair were the same, both had metal buckles, instead of the other models that came with plastic. Maybe the Seth had the 8 flex instead too.
