buy the new ones if theyre the same price if you can get the orange ones for cheaper than get them cause theyre a good ski for park but no t so graeat for ice and mountain stuff. im not relaly sure about the new ones specs

which ones perform better...I ski mostly park but a little bit of moguls and powder

the the new yellow ones. I think the old ones had delam problems or something. The new ones are supposed to be totally sweet and you can get the line binding if you want.

what bindings will you be putting on them?
i have both pair, you won't be dissapointed either way. as long as you don't have one on each foot it doesn't matter.
orange=center mounted though. easier to spin, but yellow are fine too.
yellow don't chip quite as bad, but orage have 2309809times better graphics. what's your priority?

no mike nick 171s are 6 cm back i believe. and the orange ones are the 2000-2001 model
