(CNN) -- The Pakistani Taliban denied any involvement in a double bombing at the Boston Marathon that killed at least three people, spokesman Ihsanullah Ihsan said Wednesday.

"Wherever we find Americans we will kill them, but we don't have any connection with the Boston Explosions," Ihsan said.

The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the Times Square bombing in 2010.

I think you guys should feel lucky, - if it is infact domestic, and some maniac than a terrorist group. i don't think any more conflicts with the middle east would do anyone, any good.
 
i don't think it actually matters. if they're from overseas, what are ya gonna do, start another war? if they're homegrown, what are ya gonna do, start another war?
 
I found it pretty funny that he had to put that first part in there when a simple "Nope, that wasn't us." would've worked.
 
kind of obvious. if it was a Taliban planned attack on the US the death count would be an order of magnitude higher at least. clearly someone who didn't care about death count or someone who didn't really know what they were doing.
 
My money is on some random wacko job, just like the guys doing all these mass shootings as of late.
 
if this was a foreign attack no way would they be sitting back and watching us squirm. a country like north korea or the taliban are here to pick a fight so we would know who it was by now.

North Korea is not smart enough to think of such a decisive tactic. They are looking to make a scene, ie nuclear warfare and arrogance.
 
i feel like these episodes of violence are giving other fucking wack jobs the confidence of doing such things,

Plenty of people hate America....Al Shahaab, Al Qaeda, Taliban, Lashkar El tariff(botched spelling i know), Iran, North Korea, Plenty of Arab Spring nations...

The Norks are a lot smarter than we give them credit for. Don't be so quick to jump to the conclusions of an ignoramus
 
We have literally no idea, so I'd be extremely stupid to speculate in any capacity with that amount of information.

if you have HBO watch the new series VICE the crew travels to crazy legit rebel child army camps and in the new one they meet with this guy whose a high ranking Towelhead official and like a buddy buddy with bin laladoodoodine

The Afghan people have fought foriegn invaders for milenia, why is this any different....
 
Not really, it just seems that way because of the way media is now a days we hear about every single tragedy there is vs in the 80s when there was no CNN, no Internet, no fox stuff like this wasnt as big
 
Same. I mean clearly I'm no professional and it could be anyone but, Al Qaeda is very good at what they do and I personally think it would of been on a much larger scale if they were responsible.
 
So just a curiosity thing here, did that bill to use drone strikes on American soil ever get passed? Assuming this terrorist was an American/on American soil could this option be implemented?
 
if it was north korea, i doubt boston would still be on the map (that is, if they actually have any form of nuclear weapons). after all their boasting and warmongering, they're not going to just put a couple of bombs in a bin (i'm not belittling such a tragic event, but at least put things in perdpective). terrorists, maybe, but i honestly think that again it would be a lot worse if that was the case.

people are so quick to blame things like this on terrorists and rogue nations that they forget it could well just be some fucked up nutjob who had a beef with society

yes i think north Korea came in with a pressure cooker full of metal and only killed 3 ppl. The same leader who lets hundreds of people in his country die a day of starvation, or lets them work for next to nothing plotted this... north Korea doesnt give a shit about Boston or 3 dead Americans.
 
It's most likely someone sympathetic to some foreign cause.

I'd check parking garage CCTV. There were two bombs, each was heavy and in it's own bag. No way it would have gone unnoticed if there was someone struggling to carry two bags through a crowd before simply leaving one and walking away.

I bet he placed one, went back to his car, then got the other to place. And they'd just checked the area for bombs an hour prior, meaning there's a narrowed down window during which he did it.

Look for anyone with either two bags or with one bag, then none, then one bag again
 
I doubt this has to do with any terrorist organization. If it had the results would have been a lot worse. Also Semtex or c4 would have been used not some thrown together daisy cutter.
