You guys can redicule him all you want, but any of you would have done the same thing as he did. Who wouldn't take the opprotunity to make money, skiing is not a long term profession and being the smart business man he is, he is capitalizing on his fame. He worked hard to get where he is, and just because he cant throw a bio 9 does not mean he doesnt love skiing. He just realizes that his body cant do that stuff anymore. All you lyoung teenagers out there might not believe it, but when you get older your body does not bend like it used to, and recovery time is much slower.
You guys also have to realize his dinner role helped change the way bump competitions are skied today. He gave up his chance at gold to perform a trick that was highly controversial just to help progress the sport, and it may have costed him the gold.
