the ones that I keep going to only stock Dynastar twin tips...and I don't know how I'm feeling about that...

Uh do you have a reason? I think they have a great selection of skis among other things and are pretty knowledgeable....

pretty sure that they wouldnt let my friend do anything in the shop because she was a girl and couldnt know anything because of it. summit in framingham is legit but farther away. colorado ski shop is 2 hours from boston.

I like ECA on comm ave a lot. Really cool people work there and they put/are a part of a lot of the ski events in Boston. Level 1 premiere this friday at the greatest bar! Also, they have an Oakley crow"bar" which i thought was cool. And a pretty good selection of skis and everything.

They have a college discount too.

I work at the Landry's on the same block as that ECA, I mean its good for connivence and if you you what works for you because all you do is go in, hand them money, and they give you what you want. But when I have popped in to check everything out they did not really seem to know what they are doing. If you need to ask questions or anything of that nature I would try to steer clear of it. IMO

I go to Ski Haus, which as far as I know is pretty good, but I'm not very knowledgeable about what makes a good ski shop much different than the next

I def see where you're coming from. Its pretty pricey, but their selection is decent. I guess I get a different vibe since I know a few people who work there. And they had a super knowledgable kid from one of the Danvers stores working there that day so he was helpful and chill.

I find that with a lot of ski shops on the east coast. My favorite shop back in Connecticut is so sick when the owners are working. But since its so small they'll have people covering for them who are lazy and/or clueless. Just depends who you happen to talk to.
