where would you recommend: tignes, chamonix, les 2 alpes, or la clusaz? Looking for mostly big mountain but also a decent park and good apres-ski

les 2 alpes, I heard it's the best. But La Clusaz and Tignes are awesome too.

Sick and Tired.

Hey, i am trying to plan a trip to the Alps the week before Christmas, so there is my question:

1) where can you ski without having to worry about not enough snow etc. at that time of the year

2) i'm looking for killer apres-ski, cool bars, not posh (yes, i do plan on getting shitfaced...)

verdict?

Tignes, you get the ski area of Val'dIsere too - nightlife in both (cheap taxis between)

and a hell of a park (when its sorted....)

I was there in the summer when I was younger. Spent a week there. Absolutely massive in every way.

During the winter the best is Les 2 Alpes, Avoriaz and La Clusaz just after the CANDIDE INVITATIONAL the park is the sickest one in Europe. During the Summer LES 2 ALPES of course :D
