Where to ski end of April/beginning of May

So I'm from Michigan and I get out of school towards the end of April. I wanna take a trip out West and I'm looking for some more info on places to go.

I was thinking about the Timberline spring pass for $100 (if they do it again?) or Mt. Bachelor has a spring pass for $150 but I'm not really sure how long their season goes?

I'd be willing to camp but if there were somewhere to rent with a group or stay for cheap that'd be awesome.

So I guess who has the best places to stay? the best parks/snow? and stuff to do after skiing...
