Where to shred in New England this weekend?

I'm stuck in southern New England after living out west and Killington for years… I want to have a kick ass day trip this weekend somewhere new with a bunch of terrain….. Killington Loon Burke Sunday River Mt Snow are all places I've been plenty of times…. also since it's probably a day trip we'll want to stay close to highways/civilization, but a slightly smaller mountain might have less crowds.

I was thinking Bretton Woods or Smuggs might be fun to try? Any thoughts? Anywhere get a lot of snow this season? Little to no lift lines?

My soul is dying in need to shred to my full potential lol. How's Tuckermans looking by the way anybody know?

Where are you in the east? And about Tuckerman's it can be pretty sketch and pretty fucking gnarly to go out and do it in January. I wouldn't recommend it. But if you're far down south, come shred Mountain Creek! Haha decent park for what it is.

smuggs is definitely a solid choice. they stepped up their parks this year and got a lot of new features that are pretty fun

Smuggs is a brutal day trip from rhode island/Connecticut. I would seriously reconsider that as a first choice for a day trip. Stick to those mountains off 93 so either Cannon or Bretton Woods. I've driven by both of those mountains a million times but never skied at either of them.

I've been scared away from Cannon my whole life even as a racer, isn't it a sheet of ice most of the time? I spent the last two season in Colorado and when I hit up Killington after the Nemo storm last February, I was freaking out like I suddenly didn't know how to ski because I forgot about ice lol

What about Saddleback?
