Where to move to?!

^^^ sydney, australia?!  why tf would i go there?! i wana go somewhere to ski..ive heard leadville is a bit gahetto. maybe steamboat.. but im going to be supporting myself and have hardly any money so colorado is just kind of not an option. or maybe we'll see, i'll also have to invest in snowtires or an awd car before i move out of portland so ya.. anyways.. tahoe woul be sweet.. learned to ski at sugar bowl and squaw.. any infos about living in truckee??
 
I'm from Santa Fe. It's definitely not cheap, but the minimum wage here is 9.50 an hour so you can get by. I just got back to town, I haven't skied Santa Fe in a couple years. Rumor has it they put in a park at the end of last year, I'm going to go check it out tomorrow.
 
Oh by the way though, to answer your original question. I'd recommend Telluride. Granted, it's a small town in the middle of nowhere, but the mountain and people are fucking excellent. I spent the first part of this season working for the mountain up there and just had a blast. No lift lines ever, a sick park crew and some top notch terrain just make it so bomb. It's a tiny ski town for sure, but the people there are super chill.
 
salt lake is a good place to live if all you want to do is ski. if you want a good social scene, this isnt the place to be. but the skiing kicks ass so if you just want to ski everyday then you're set
