Where to mount gopro

I just got a GoPro Hero 3 and I want ns input of where the best place to mount it on the helmet is and what are some good items to make a follow cam. help will get k+. thanks

mounted on a pole is my fav use the handle bar mount its easy to make your own set up

if you mount it on your helmet do not do it directly on top, if you hit anything it's gonna rip off and you'll look like a gaper anyway. put it on the front as far down as you can and angle it up.

Yeah dude, dont put it directly on the top of your helmet. The best shots are with pole cams. I like the chestmount also. Kinda cool lookin.

Towards the front of your helmet, then set the angle so it's the same as your goggles. This way you'll know the camera is seeing exactly what you are.

Chest mounts are kinda shitty, it's way too much knees and it makes it look like you're super backseat. Also if it's deep you can't see anything because of all the snow.

Backpack strap. Works better than a chest mount and you don't look like a complete tool like a helmet mount.

put gopro in a baseplate (without removing the protective film from the adhesive) and film from several positions on your helmet, analyze the footage and decide which is the best ... personally i put mine on my forehead and it works great!

but yeah, there are a lot of other cool angles, i agree with that but the helmet mount is by far the easiest and most convenient to use and puts out decent footage ....
