Where to mount ARV 96

Ikik this threads been available a hundred times. Lots of people say center even though it’s non symmetrical and lots say to mount like around -2 for this reason. My friend has liberty helix 98 that are center and he says he can’t feel a difference between center and -2.5 Should I mount center if I’m mainly doing park or will that mess up my skiing for when I go to Vermont and such?
 
Arv has two recommended mounting points one is at -2 or -3 I can’t remember and the other is at -5 from the center...

As an Arv 96 rider (they are my dailies and crud riders) I can’t say that mounting them center will significantly affect your riding (in a way which will make them literally unrideable)...

However I can say that if you mount it at the first recommended point ( not the -5) you will have a great time with these skis in the park and on the mountain. In most cases what manufacturers recommend is where they have (tested) the skis and found that they are at the peak of their maneuverability and performance.

Ultimately it is your preference my guy! Whatever you choose I wish you the best shredding and I hope you get the most out of your arvs.
 
I have mine at -3 or -3.5 (can't remember exactly) and it feels nice for my regular skiing and I don't notice it in the park. I'm a big supporter of mounting on the recommended line unless you're riding 100% park
 
Definitely suggest mounting at recommended line. Mounting center will make them worse for free riding and fresh snow, and it’s not like armada recommends a far back line anyway, you’ll be plenty forward on the ski
 
recommended for sure! Don’t see a real reason to mount those skis in the middle unless you plan on going backwards the same amount you are going forwards. Plus like stated above armada has tested the ski and recommended is probably gonna be where you get the peak performance out of your ski.
 
I think armada knows most ski an ARV for park so their recommended mount probably takes that into consideration! (Maybe)

so id say go with recommended. I mounted my ARW’s in between center and factory and got into some pow in the trees and immediately regretted it. They’re so close to center anyway!
