Where to mount 192 Armada TSTs?

Any thoughts on where I should mount these? They're my touring ski and will be getting Dukes.

Recommended seems to be pretty far back and leaves a lot of tip. Thinking I could go a little forward of the line, but just wanted to see if anybody had any advice.

i have the 183's mounted with dukes at the recommended line and i like them a lot there, but it does leave a good bit of ski in front. i dont think going +1 or 2 would be a bad idea, but i havent had any issues at the recommended point

From my experience with TSTs dont mount them any furtherforward than -2.5 Although it might look like a lot of tip its a long slender rocker and the EST is designed to create a supershort turn radius. If you try and mount further forward you are interfering with the mechanics of the ski and will find it cumbersome.

Think of it like trying to mount a Salomon BBR further forward than factory. It would be even more of a shocker to ski on. The BBR is essentially EST tech just branded differently for a different market

Definitely go with recommended. With a sidecut like that, if you mount them anywhere but where the ski is meant to be at it will ski funny.

if your skiing it in the park then move it 1 or 2 forward but if not then go recomended...they designed the ski to be mounted in that spot

Recommended for sure. I also have the 183s with Dukes, and if you're gonna be touring then having that extra bit of ski up front isn't a bad thing. They can charge hard and they're quick as hell edge to edge. Wouldn't mess with em too much...

-7 is my vote. i mounted mine at -5 and it's just too far forward if you really want to drive into the ski. remember that they've got a ton of tip rocker, so the length of ski actually contacting snow in front of your boot is less than one might initially expect.
