Where to go in Aspen this week?

I've been in Aspen a few days here and the conditions are less than ideal. Anybody know of some places in Aspen that may be hiding snow instead of dirt?
 
You're in the wrong state to be looking for snow. If I were you I'd hop off the slopes and hit up the Belly up for a show in town. I think STS9 is playing all weekend starting tonight.

Is there enough snow to be decent? I mean I know it's been open but is it any good? How are the trees around mushroom looking? They generally hold decent snow.

There will probably be some tickets out front, at least the first night. Fuck I wish them or umph played last year. There are some fucking killer 3 night runs this year. Almost went to umph in 2014 but was in eagle and didn't wanna make the drive(working the next day) on the off chance I got in.

I'm a big grass fan so sam bush, greensky, and cheese were more than enough. I can't imagine seeing sountribe in such a small venue though. Would be fucking lit. I would probably catch a ride home with the sherriffs lol.

I don’t know what you consider decent snow, but once you hit tree line in the bowl, i didn’t encounter may rocks, maybe 1 or two in my G5 run

word that's good enough honestly. As long as it's not crusty and super rocky.

that was last weekend, its was significantly better than the steeple chase area. I dropped in there my first run last saturday and it was crusty. The bowl was super soft
 
I'll probably hit the bowl tomorrow or Saturday. Forgot my strap for the hike up. I havent done any of the tree lines up there. What zone would you reccomend for a first time tree rider in the bowl? Hope we get a few inches by Saturday.

honestly just traverse until you find a line that you like. The highland bowl was my first weekend attempting double black diamonds and i could handle anything in the G zones.
 
Leeroy Jenkins...the same from TGR in the early days? LOL.

the bowl by far will be the best in the valley. Gs and Ozone. Walsh's, Kristi, Ridge, and Shoulder on Ajax are skiing the best for that hill. I said the best compared to the rest, after them, perrys and zaugg....mostly chalk snow. be careful of stumps and rollovers. have fun. I'll be on Ajax today. Snowmass park is up and skiing good. Xgames park should open today or tomorrow
 
Ajax yesterday was super fun! Tons of sidehits, didn't do Walsh or Kristi though. Probably going to the bowl today. I can do park in the Midwest, I want to ski some steep stuff.

it was super fun. skiing corn in feb is scary but it sure made for some good turns.
