i'm visiting my dad for the week and i'm in everett. is there anywhere nearby to go cliff jumping? a bridge works too. specific names of parks, roads, or lakes/rivers would be nice. thanks guys.

Not really close to everett but Banks lake has a sick spot to jump from. It's called Eagle rock on the map but on top off the cliff it's called big bertha and little bertha. Big bertha is about a 60ft drop depending on the water level and little bertha is probaly 40ft. But this is a five hour drive from Seatown so not realalistic. There is a brige out by my place but the water quality is not so great since it's lower than all the farms in monroe. If you know were the prison farms in monroe are then i'm sure you can find this bridge.

^^^ Sick I ride Walker Valley outside of arlington alot so It can't be too hard to find. The only lakes up there I know about are Big lake, and Lake cavanaugh. I should look into this whistle lake if there a good jump spot.

Bored at work so I did a search on Whistle lake:

From Interstate 5 heading north, turn toward Anacortes (west) on state Route 20 north of Mount Vernon. Turn left in Anacortes on Commercial Avenue. Turn left again onto Fidalgo and left once more at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Turn right on Hillcrest (which becomes Whistle Lake Road). Whistle Lake Road then becomes Whistle Terrace. Take the road that goes downhill to the parking area, which is about two miles from Commercial Avenue. There are signs posted for the park, but they are not obvious.

Sounds like a chill spot.... Too bad summers almost over and it's now time to start thinking about some PNW pow!

if you go out toward the fire training academy on I90 towards snoqualmie pass, get off there (exit 38), follow the road east till it goes under the freeway and to a bridge. find the mark on the west side of the bridge- marks the deepest spot.

highway 2 at eagle falls (near baring). swim across river to a little scramble up. You can get jumps from around 30-60ft there.

Banks lake (a bit far) but has a lot of options there.

If you hike up to Lake Serene (on mt. index) there are some good options on the west side of the lake. Nice deep, clear, and cold water

there is always the UW Arboredum. i think thats how you spell it. i cant believe none of you guys thought of that. its the most famous one in washington

y eab ut ive herd the lilly pads have grown out to where you jump off so its straight ghetto now. and if your in everett going up noerth would be way easir then south.,

i would have had it really good if it wasn't for the downward inrun. but it was still a good time. thanks guys.

looks fun man... Good spot eh? I might try it out next summer. Winter will soon be here so I'm almost done with summer... except dirtbiking.

we looked at that stuff but as far as we could tell there were a ton of weeds that we could see and that told me it was shallow so i wasn't about to jump unless someone else went first.

i think you went like straight back. yeaa definitely dont jump their. But theirs a trail through the woods on the island that main cliff is at that goes to more cliffs that are really nice and bigger. Like if you were to jump off that cliff you jumped off and then swim to the right around the point youd be directly below them.
