Where to 540

where should i learn to 540? in the pipe or on a jump... i can 3 with a grab on a jump (10-15ft.) and i can 3 in a pipe, i think i can air like 3 ft. outta a pipe.

i can also land switch easily on the jump, what're your suggestions?

if you can 3 in a pipe, you can 5 in a pipe. try it. it's easy.

i never had any problem after learning a 360, everything to 900 came easily for me because once you learn the basics of spinning all it is, is just dialing it in

I think you should be doen 5s over jumps bigger than 10-15 ft and higher out of the pipe than 3 ft, work on the fundamentals in the pipe and then spin

I learned to 540 on a small jump Like 10 ft. just to get the feeling of it, also then if you fall it doensn,t hurt that bad

Definitely a jump. It doesn't have to be very big for your first one. Helps if it is poppy too.

EXACTLY!!! Same thing happened for me...I had the hardest time learning 3's and then I got them around 3 years ago and now I can do 10's

do a 5 over something 15-25 ft if youre a little nervous to hit bigger jumps
