Where Should I Move

So I've been given the opportunity of a lifetime. I've been interning for a big corporation for a couple of years now. Earlier this week my personal liaison who is a pretty high executive within this company told me that I would be receiving a job offer at the end of the summer and that it would be for whereever and whatever program within the company I wanted. I was told I had until July first to get back to him with my decision. I can basically go to any major US city because there are literally offices everywhere for this company.

So NSers where should I go?

SEATTLE

Ok, living is expensive but if you want to be in one of the coolest places in America, Seattle has gotchu. I could rant on and on about Seattle and how good it is but I won't cause whats the point? It's sick in every way.

STURBOOKS, WEED, EVO, SKIING, KIRK COCAINE, GURNGE, AND BIG GIANT DRUG NEEDLE IN DOWNTOWN, seattle has got it all.

Except for stepping on a drug needle. Thats not fun.

Stay away from any of the PNW cities, they have horrible winters and the skiing sucks!lol

Seattle, Portland, SLC, Bend, along with all the areas in between, you can’t go wrong.

Can’t go wrong with the coastal cities

I'm not a huge fan of the beach. When I started as an intern for this company they relocated me to Florida for a summer and while it was a cool way to spend a summer it would annoy me bc skiing is even more inaccessible.

Where do your parents live? If they have good skiing move there. Convenient dog sitter. Borrow their tools. Closer to go if you wreck so bad you can’t prepare your own meals etc or if you need to take care of them.

My parents live in IL and I live in MO. Not looking to stay in the midwest

SLC if you’re a really core skier. Denver if you need more nightlife, sports, and terrain park. SLC is great for overall mountains and pow snow, but if you’re big into park then Park City is the only one with a lot, Brighton has some where as Denver you have tons of park options but also more bullshit with the traffic, etc. but being a weekend warrior sucks everywhere if that fits the bill of your job. Traffic to the resorts in SLC is nowhere near as bad as Denver, but parking is

Portland and surrounding areas, and this is coming from a guy who grew up in CO. Oregon is beautiful and has a bit of everything. Denver's nice and the skiing's great but the i70 corridor is bullshit and will only get worse.

I've looked at Everett WA,

If your looking at Everett, look anywhere between skykomish and monroe along highway 2. Steven's is on highway 2 with a decent park/pipe and my fav resort in wa. And theirs endless hiking and fishing opportunities. The snow is heavy(wetish) at times though.
