Where do you guys get your brakes?

Any park skier knows that these things are practically disposable if you are landing switch a lot, so I'm wondering where you guys buy your brakes (if online).

I went through a couple pairs of them last season and that shit adds up fast, so I figured I'd stock up this summer since I actually have some money.

I ride Salomon STH 14's and my underfoot is 82.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks.

I've never had an issue. I normally have a few extras in different sizes lying around, and shops will normally hand them out if you go in and ask (at least for narrower brakes because that comes stock on a lot of bindings. People buy their gear, get the wider brakes, and when the shop mouts them they put the wider ones on and hold on to the smaller ones, so there are normally extras lying around)

Also avoid buying them online. Px brakes are $40 a pair, but are so common that shops have tons of extras. A 6er is a lot cheaper than $40

With the exception of the Guardian, all Salomon brake arms are all interchangeable. Even the old ones. Check you thrift shops and ski swaps for old skis and poach the brakes.

No I don't think so.....I bought some saloman z-12 brakes for my sth 14 drivers on accident.....and my shop couldn't mount them.....maybe it was just liability reasons though.

I get my FKS brakes from the ski-fence at the city dump. Head up there with a #3 posidrive and harvest ancient Look 3D heelpieces.
