In the dating world, where do you draw the line?

I just got out of a pretty long relationship and I started using tinder. Long story short, tinder banned my account because I reported someone's profile for being the wrong sex. I have my account set to only show me women, but I saw quite a few profiles that are clearly men. To be clear, I'm not talking about transgender people (which there are also a lot of on tinder), but just men - male names, beards, dicks; all of the prerequisites.

I guess I'm really asking a few different questions here:

Am I an asshole for thinking that these people shouldn't set their accounts to say they're females?

Where do you draw the line? Would you date someone who identifies as a female but is anatomically male? What about someone who has had gender reassignment surgery? Is there no line to be drawn?

I could care less if people want to be transgender or cut their dicks off or whatever, but I dont see how I'm the bad guy for only being into actual biological females.

Also, I don't think im doing anything wrong by saying that a 250lb dude with a full beard named Jimmy ISN'T A WOMAN. Apparently tinder disagrees.
 
At the end of the day it's up to you. If someone doesn't like that you're not attracted to them, fuckem (or don't lol). IMO tinder is aids
 
So your title looks like you're asking where you draw the line with attraction or hobbies or attitude but your text is all about transgender folks. Confusing.

But anyway no you aren't wrong and I'm pretty sure that would be against their terms of service to identify as a guy and have your profile appear female. Identifying as a female and appearing in the female search is a gray area but I agree it's misleading and people have to see how that is problematic. But also in terms of sexual preference that's anyone's prerogative. Personally I think there should be a separate section for transgender women and men because it's difficult to tell sometimes. Does tinder not have a way to identify as transgender? Or is that why grindr is so popular? If you're in the female swipe mode, more than likely you're looking for biological females as would I.

Did you really download Tinder and not understand that you'd have to wade through some shit before you got a good match?

Tinder is openly a very LGBTQ and kink friendly platform. If you think you're gonna be some kinda tinder pervert police... well I think you figured out what happens.

Whatever tho. What did happen with Jimmy?

I think one of two things happened:

1. Jimmy does id as male but just doesn't know how to change it. Lol.

2. Jimmy does id as female, and is putting her weird self out there in the vastness of online dating to find someone to love and accept her as the 250lb bearded princess she sees herself to be.

Awknowledge that you're not attracted to Jimmy (no one is forcing you to be, it's okay to be straight) swipe left and carry on... just like any other profile. Eventually your algorithm will start showing you what you want to see.

You draw a hard line with every single profile that you see. Its called swipe left for no, swipe right for yes.
