Where Do You Buy Your Skis Online?

When my local shop doesn't have the thing I'm looking for, I usually go for Evo (mostly for the preseason sale). Do you have any preferences or do you not really care? Just curious about other online stores.

evo.com

backcountry.com

skis.com

getboards.com

They all have good deals at some point so I usually just keep my eye out for sales that come out. I bought 2014 Atomic Punx from skis.com and i got marker squires for $120 on backcountry.com

I got mine from rei about a month ago, waited for last years gear to go on sale, picked up a brand new pair of 2013/14 atomics for $200

www.sport-conrad.com . For the best price, always buy with bindings then sell the bindings.

You can find some killer deals on ebay if you're looking used.

I picked up a pair of used but spotless abangs with griffins over the summer for $150 on there.

Just make sure you're asking the seller questions and checking their feedback to make sure that you're not getting scammed.

The House Boardshop of course! www.the-house.com

The House, as a Minnesota based company, is ruining shops here IMO. I mean yeah you're buying it online I guess but nobody there knows jack shit about skiing and theres so many (or were so many) awesome shops in MN that actually do awesome stuff for the community.

So i'm going to go ahead and say fuck the house, support one of the other companies who actually do cool things for our industry.

i always support local shops. they tend to have decent deals on left over stuff in the spring. And your getting real help and support. If you ever have problems you can go back and they will help figure it out. Instead of some guy over the phone

i've looked often to buy off companies directly. a lot of them have sales mid/end of season, however things being in stock is often an issue. but otherwise for canadian retailers i obviously look at d-structure. i like the selection of americans sites like evo, and dogfunk/backcountry for gear, but i'm apprehensive to order because of duties.
