Where do i mount masterminds

if you wanted to mount center, why not buy a symmetrical ski?

doing what you want to do is like buying a corvette, and then saying, eh, i think i wanna use it for off roading.

buy the ski that does what you want it to do, not buy some old ski and then mount it where you please. thats counter intuitive and just pointless, you wont ever get the performance that you would out of a symmetrical ski.

my 2 cents.

i bought them cuz they're a good all mountain ski and i mainly ski park but i might be taking a trip to tremblant and whiteface and dont plan on skiing just park there cuz bristol doesn't have a variety of terrain plus i got em for pretty cheap compared to its original price

i actually think the minds are gonna be fairly good in the park. im kinda regretting bot getting these instead of the anthems i got but well see once more reviews come in. to the op: 2 back

if you are going to ride them all mountain then you dont want to mount them center. when you mount a non symmetrical ski center, you defeat the whole purpose of the sidecut because you arent in the sweet spot to hold and edge and get the effective turn radius

Yeah. do you happen to know where recommended is on them? even better in relation to center.

the longest ones are 6 cm back for recommended but that is very far let me tell you coming off of 7 back p.e.s

I like to use these guidelines:

center mount - symmetrical skis only

1cm back - 90% park, 10% all mountain

2-3cm back - 70/30

4-5cm back - 50/50

just guidelines, but hope this helps.

the reccomended point will make the skis ski like they are designed for all terrain freestyle but yea the closer you get to center the more freestyle and less all mountain you'll get. good luck and enjoy! thanks for the support!

only center mount on my symmetrical skis

2 back on my non symmetrical park/all mtn skis

3-4 back on my pow skis
