When is the best tie in our summer to ski chile

Hey I was thinking about heading down to chile this summer to get their winter when do they get the most fresh snow and pow..?
 
Everyone that I know that has gone to chile or argentina has always gone in august. Thats what I hear is the best time to do it. I also hear that late september into early october is like their spring skiing... which would be pretty sick too.... I am tyring to go in August this summer.
 
I went to portillo in July and it was fairly decent. A couple days of 1ft fresh powder. But a couple weeks after I left , it started snowing in multiple feet incrmements. That was August.
 
I´m from Chile. July and August are the two center months and the best ones. Usually last week of july and first week of august are the school holidays so it can get a bit crowded but not on week days and only on the three resorts closer to Santiago (Parva, Valle Nevado and Colorado). Best snow July and August too.

This year season ran from June 15 to Sept 25. For you to make an idea.
