Interesting...when i think of china i think of how we royally fucked up our economy by giving them all of our jobs. Quality is a whole different problem.

Skiing is for sure not the first thing that i think of when i think of China. I think more along the lines of the most polluted place in the world.

haha dude there is no ski company that makes more durable quality skis than K2, i have never heard a single person complain about their k2 skis breaking or delaming or anything like that so please learn your shit

line skis had a lot of problems when they first came out, the ones made in NY. now that they are made in China everyone wants em, cuz they are amazing.

really? who cares where they were made. they are good and solid companys'. Its a reality that most things are are made in china. You should be grateful to live in America. good god...

As much as it bums me out that skis are made outside of the U.S., they are made no differently than they are in the U.S. So they are the exact same ski, just way more profitable for K2. K2 has their shit on lock. Feel free to bitch when their skis become shit. If Salomons were made in China, then you might have a case.

k2 has little problems with their skis. if all skis out of china came out like the original invaders and had tons of problems, it'd be a different story.

haha yeah im the roommate, i didnt read everything before posting. i agree that it was due to manufacturer defect, but i was trying to prove the point that nobody is perfect to james44. learn yo shit james.

when i think of skis being made in china

i think of that cheezy little "made in china" sticker that came on my bacons

then i think "who gives a fuck, these are the best most durable skis I have ever had."

I think that if you break any ski that easy it's pretty obvious that it's a single ski quality failure. If people were flexing skis and breaking them with that little force, k2 would be out of business really fast.
K2 skis are very very very durable. You got a bad one.

haha i totally agree with you, although that was my first personal experience with k2 i have had many friends over the years who swear by them... i wasnt trying to say they make bad skis at all, i was just saying that there is bound to be at least one rotten apple in the orchard.

when I think of skiing, I think of the movie hot dog. Great skiing, lots of partying, and cougars. Oh yea and chinese downhills.

its when a group of people race insanely for the bottom of the hill, by any means possible. hitting each other with poles, taking out people in your way, etc

It's not the only thing I think of when I think of China, just one of the things that came to my mind.

YOU DO NOT GET IT

he in no way should remind you of china

but of north korea

DO THEY NOT TEACH YOU THESE THINGS FROM THE OUTSIDE WORLD ON YOUR FUCKING CULT's COMPOUND?

You guys do realize that K2 has been making skis in China since somewhere around 1998-2000.
