When does winter start for you?

I just spent all day watching Jersey Shore in my ski gear, and wishing for snow. Unfortunatley, my mountain doesn't open until the start of November, what about you?

makin the trip up to keystone first weekend of november.

unfortunately my local mountain won't open til mid december... which kinda sucks

my mountain opens december 5th. ( apprently) but i started skiing backcountry inmrevelstoke last winter on november 7th, 30 cm of fluff on november 7th, so sick.

The mountain usually opens in December, it's also filled with gapers and rocks then. And the rails are locked. By late December we have a rail that we set up ourselves cause our "park crew" gets paid to chill in the lodge. And there's usually a week where we have a decent park until someone decides it needs to be changed so that everything is ride on.

whenever the girls stop wearing butt-length shorts, tanks, and sunglasses and start wearing black leggings, black northface fleece, uggs, and have a starbucks.

/college.

late november/early december usually, hopefully earlier this year though

hmmm thats wierd, it sounds just like my home mtn for the past 15 years of my life. except they sit in the park hut and smoke pot and dont do shit all day. thankfully i made the move out to utah this year and will finally be able to do some real skiing

usually by the first weekend in october theres enough snow to set up a rail, if not actually hike for some turns.

road trips to all the premieres

first dusting of now- scrape of the summer coats of the planks

more road trips to all the opening days around the midwest

then sliding down the man made all winter

Well, i'm still got a week left in Argentina, so that'll be the end of this season (09/10). I live in Colorado, our season (10/11) starts in October at Abasin or Loveland. I'm thinking early this year, maybe a bday present 10/18.
