how is baker's ski patrol because I plan on getting seriously injured on some big ass kickers in the backcountry this year.

I heard you don't need avalanche gear at Baker Mountain Resort if you have Recco avalance things built into your pant's but you need an avalance beacon if you have Recco things on your jacket. Also what's the point of skiing with a shovel? It's not like I'm going to dig myself out and an avalanche...

What happens if you hit a rock or a hard spot and think its a person. Then you dig down 10 ft and your buddy buried 25 ft away dies in that time. Come on use your brain, those poles are not for finding buried people~

Avalanches can only happen inbounds anyway, just simple physics.
