When do you know to call it a day

Usually after about 7 hours of skiing I get tired and cant even do simple things in the park anymore like popping onto rails and I start wrecking myself I decide to call it a day and head home before I actually hurt myself.

Anyone else have any signs they use when they know they're too tired to ski any longer?

^ what he said

I find it so hard to call it a day, usually ill call it a day because i dont have the proper gear and im freezing to death, or starving

when my legs hurt and stopping becomes difficult. stopping starts to equal elongating turns into slowing down into stopping. you start to realize youre not being safe or smart anymore

when i feel like it . worked hard for a pass and gas money so im gun-a fucking enjoy it and i just ski till im to beat, to cold, feeling sick, etc. i don't drink so at least i don't have to worry bout leaving cause im too drunk to ski like many of the people that i know and ride with.. also helps my mountain is only 30 min to my house and 20 min back to town. have a great winter and get that pow homies !!.

that moment when i know if i continue to ride ill end up in hurting myself or won't be having any fun on the run

When all the little high school skittle kids get out of class and flock to the mtn I normally take that as a sign to leave. After I loudly proclaim my last run on the lift up for all to hear. Its not voodoo ya idiots

once the police department drags me off the mountain for trespassing at the end of the season

When your body is sore, your everything hurts, you want to go in but in spite of that...you still hit that lift back up to the top to give it one more run.

You should call it a day after you've landed your most challenging tricks, after your feet hurt or any part of your body hurt. Or, if you're super dehydrated and hungry and can't land anything

You never call it a day. Well, You never say "this is the last run" if you do say that bad shit will go down...INJURIES. Call it a day when the mountain closes or when you are told to leave

It usually depends on the day, mostly

when my legs start shaking

when the light goes flat

when all I'm skiing is ice

when all my pussy friends bail early

When the mountain closes, you're too broken to ski, or you stomp a really nice run late in the day and end it on a good note.

That is exactly how I got skiers thumb. Told myself after grabbing a drink I would only do one more run and it turned out to the the only run I fell on all day. Fucking jinx yourself doing that shit.

When you find yourself messing up on tricks you can normally do first try. That usually tells me my focus is off and my muscles are getting lazy.

when I'm skiing down a run that's pretty easy and my legs are charlie horsing from the constant popping and landing. that's when I go beer it up. (and stop)
