When did you find out Santa wasn't real?

For me I'm pretty sure it was third grade. I was a pretty bright kid then so I sort of just thought about it and figured it out on my own lol. Although I didn't tell my parents I knew until I was like in 5th grade because I was afraid that I wouldn't get presents anymore (I never got anything throughout the year so Christmas was my only chance to get what I wanted).

Stop trying to convince me

Santa came through for me big time this morning. Op do know you have to believe to get presents from the real Santa?

Im sure I believed in santa when I was really little, but my parents never really pushed the santa thing. I knew by 6 if not earlier.

I remember having a small crisis when writing out my Christmas list when I was 6 or so. I said that I didn't believe in Santa, but I was scared that I wouldn't get presents as a result, so I convinced myself for a few more years.

kinda like pascal's wager lol

I just said I believed in him to be cute when I was young, but I figured it out pretty quick when there were no tracks on the roof, no mess in the hall and mall santas couldnt be the real thing.

I remember when I was like 7 or 8 I left a letter by the fireplace without telling my parents and I checked in the morning to see if it was still there. Sure enough... it was

I went into my parents room when I was little in early december and saw a bunch of gifts. I saw those same gifts christmas morning from santa and then i knew...

that my dad was the real santa

Well that's odd, considering in another thread you said your brother and parents gave all your gifts.

then where did this dildo come from?

I kinda just realized it overtime and found out through friends, probably around 4th or 5th grade I guess. Wasn't really upset, I still get presents so its chill.

Lol at all the kids in this thread that get skipped over by the real Santa. Your parents should just let you face the consequences of your disbelief instead of trying to fake it for you. Let's just give everyone a ribbon even if they can't follow the rules.

honesty I found out in like grade 3 or 2. I was just joking with the fam and said "i know santa isnt real". They asked how i found out. I got the shit culture shocked out of me
