sooo im doing my senior design line here at colorado state and im planning on doing guys & gals streetwear for people who ski, board, longboard, those kinds of rockin shenanagins.... im targeting CO people, but i figure the style is about the same in other places too, so i need to get a better understanding of what YOU GUYS or girls wear off the mountian - what brands, colors, ect... just a little market research for the greatest people ever...those who shred :) thankssssss bros and hos

high tops, skinney but not redic tight jeans, xl shirts plain or simple but bright colored is key, less standoutish new era hats. stuff that feels good, also sag is a must alone with a shirt with length that covers it. that seems to be what most skiers/skaters ect wear.

nike dunk lows, tight but not waaay to tight denim. Tee's mostly white or black, some big others right fitting. Fifty 9 Fity, annnd gotta have the shades.

v-necks and plaid shirts are my most common clothing item along with skinny jeans and shoes with lots of color. i also go to csu...go rams

Im sorry, im going to be completely honest and dont take this offensive but... I hate people that dress like you.

me, I dress like a normal white guy, jeans that fit, t shirts, polos, even dress shirts if I feel like it.

well....i live in CO and just graduated. I'm usually wearing a shirt and tie or suit, because that's my job. But if not, i'm wearing clothes that fit well without being overly baggy, or overly tight.
looking like a hipster/skater/emo/i'm too cool to be normal person....no. I dress nicely, because I would like people to take me seriously.

tall t's- around mid thigh, sometimes lower

dark denim pants-regular fit

nike 6.0- rasta colors with purple laces

sometimes shades

I usually go with a correct fitting t-shirt with a company logo or a polo shirt. Well fitting, low-rise American Eagle jeans or khaki shorts. Most of the time I wear a normal baseball hat, sometimes a flat bill. Flip flops, skate shoes, or Nike shoes. Expensive Oakley watch. Aviator, Oakley, or Zumies wayfarer sunglasses when needed.

Sorta tight-ish jeans, but not actually tight, more like slim fit. Boat shoes most of the time, occasionally dunks. T shirts that fit me properly, but are not too tight and not baggy, flannel shirts. Shirts range from just black or white to bright colors. A new era cap, and usually a dope sweater.

guess off the hill im not the usual skier.

I like shirts that fit ME, which is hard to find, cuz i am skinny and tall.

but the shirts i like fit like a medium but about 6 inches longer. I find that normal clothes after they have hit the drier are always too fat or too short. I like all the shirts i got at pacsun. zoo york specifically. Also straight up plain colors. only one color for each shirt/ item of clothing. No designs/logos.

Also i really want some straight up white boardshorts, that fit like normal quiksilver ones, without all the logos and advertising bullshit. I am yet to see these anywhere. If you made a whole line of straight up plain colors, but like nice colors I think they would be legit. No logos.

tightish jeans

white wayfarers.

dunlop volleys, best shoes ever

also i make my own hoodies, but i like them skinny and long, and i think crewnecks are way legit.

and ED-HARDY... lol not

Skinny jeans, colourful high tops usually, longish tees... nothing thats "tall" but longer than usual and maybe a hat.

Also flannel shirts.

you had to mention that your stuff is expensive didnt you... I cant stand people who wear stuff because its expensive or have to wave the fact around in peoples faces.( and people like you do, dont deny it)

To the guy who said he wants to be taken seriously... at a certain age that does matter but Im 18, have a girlfriend, good job and an education... fuck being taken seriously!

as for my style I realy just wear whats fun. I wear tall tees up to a bit higher than mid thigh like I can wear a small v neck with some wierd designs on them, as long as its not like everyone elses gay edhardy... shirts. I usualy wear large colorfull shirts though. as for pants I wear saggy pants, but I like the tighter style pants that arnt too tight I just dont care for buying pants right now. I love to wear tuques ( hats) condom hats, saggy hats, crochet hats... you name em I wear em but I love the saggy hats. Then for the shoes I like to screw with everyones mind and go with some realy clean and classy shoes to contradict the rest of the image

tightish jeans but not over the top, ( relaxed fit?)

t-shirts, mostly ski brands but also regular tees. colour is good but plain white tees can also do the trick.

vans right now but any kind of skate shoes.

hoodies if required colourful is nice.

hats-I got mine at the thrift store sorta trucker style or else toques.

you should pretty much know that all of skiing culture cant decide wether they live in west village or if they skate at tompkins park. me, i rock brooks bros, hickey freeman, polo, topsiders, madras and ribbon belts. sometimes i rock tortise shell wayfarers. if i feel supa cool, ill throw in a navy blazer. yea prep school/new england steeze. i talk with lockjaw too, and william f buckley jr is my dad. jk

And why should I care what a tall-T, saggy pants wearing 18 thinks about my style? Or what he thinks about my description of my own style.........

PS. Does Oakley even make a cheap watch? If I would have said just an Oakley watch, would you still bitch about it?

very skinny jeans(not skin tight, but tight), longer t shirts, not tall-tees, but slim fit t's with neon colours or a brand. i hate it but im a sucker for brands, quiksilver, billabong, etc. i have vans era's, nike airs, etnies hightops, circa lowtops, flipflops.

oneil cause theres a sale every year that i go to where everything is super fucking cheap. i also buy cheap but not bad looking sweaters from winners. the kind of stuff where you think its a sick brand from far haha. socks from costco and my mom makes alot of my boxers. and i love wearing my ns ts

slim jeans, nice fitting tee that is still sick looking, matching nikes (highs) and that's pretty much it. keep it simple and fresh.

Regular 30 x 30 Jeans. A Lrg T-shirt, or whatever freshness I have in my basket. Maybe a band t-shirt here and there. And I nice Sweatshirt/Windbreaker.

nope, I wouldnt... Im not saying you are like this but from your description it sounds like your one of those people who show off their money and I find that very shallow and superficial. your right why would you care what I think, if your happy to dress like you do thats great Im all for it! My intention is not to bitch at peoples styles here, its more to talk about how people are superficial when the clothes they buy are decided by the amount of money that those clothes reflect.

HAHAHA that sir was well played!!!

lol I didnt think people would back me on this, I just wrote what I thought and didnt give a fuck.

well played, you got a laugh out of my with the Starbucks comment, but no, I don't drink Starbucks at all. I actually stick to the $1 Burger King BK Mocha Joe's. They're delicious.

And if Zumiez and American Eagle are what you consider "showing off your money", well.....I don't have any comeback to that..... haha

Yankee fitted at all times......Nike Dunks or Flights, some DC's.........Spy shades......bright color T's to match the kicks in the summer......and oh yeah, my clothes fit.

Nike 6.0 shoes, slim fit jeans, NS shirts! and other ski related stuff, XL, plain colored shirts, bright colors. Those non hooded kinda striped thin sweaters, tall toques. New era hats always Dakine backpacks, love them and will never switch. When its cold i will wear a snow jacket.

Thats pretty much my steeze

word, sall good. i was trying to say thats what most skaters or skiers wear, not necessarily me. i guess i kinda rock it like that but a little more toned down. i do think that there is so many clothing companies that its going to be hard to make your own, what are you planning on making?

I'm a bit older at 24 than most NSer's and my clothing style has changed over the past few years...

I know mainly wear GAP straight fit jeans when it's cooler weather. The fit is fitted, not tight though. I rock the dark wash mainly.

For t-shirts, I wear subdued designs from brands that support skiing or mountain biking in some fashion (Oakley, Quiksilver, Dakine, ect...) I actually won't wear a logo t-shirt unless the company is related to the sports I participate in. I'm retarded about that.

I also find myself wearing nicer shirts more often as well. Polos from Oakley, Sessions or even Salomon and I have a few slim fit Oakley short sleeve button up shirts that are super comfy and look real good with a pair of jeans.

I enjoy dressing nicely now much more than I did a few years ago.

also, its funny how i could easily get shit for paying to much for cloths for kinda what i described. really, i drop cash on shoes every 6-8 months and wear them err day and the rest of the stuff i get at khols. the hat i do drop some cash on, but every shirt i own cost no more than 5 bucks. i really dont understand zumiez sometimes, who would pay for the same thing at triple the price.

tan boots or shoes and jeans and a t. GOing out to a nice place, nicer jeans, black dress/casual shies and a l/s button shirt. Pimpin

yeh, honestly I think zumiez stuff is legit.. i just have never even bought anything from that store, because i can't afford it.

the american eagle near me is like the cheapest store in the mall. but still I hate all over any one who wears it... i don't even know why.

lol i found this

http://www.holytaco.com/2008/05/21/8-types-of-annoying-people-youll-find-inside-starbucks/

but they don't have

"The person buying overpriced coffee in order to impress other overpriced coffee drinkers"

there is this one girl in my first class of the day who always without fail shows up with a different drink from Starbucks every day... but shes hot, so I judge her differently

Newschoolers seems to have a hard time explaining their jeans. "like theyre tight, but not like too tight but still tight". that would be slim fitting. moving on, i wear slim fitting jeans or khaki shorts. golf shorts. cargo shorts should be burned. i mostly wear plain shirts. graphic t's are for clowns. i wear polos also, and the occasional flannel.

but i realize now that none of that is any help because i'm obviously not the kind of person you are looking for. Maybe just skip to this part: FUCK YEAH, i wear skin tight jeans, high tops, and neon tall tees. sometimes i throw on a gangsta ass hoody that matches my fuckin shoes, nah mean? jeajea. an i always got a fitted.

i thought u were joking until i scrolled down to be honest

for me i usally wear tigh ass skinny jeans some vans condom toques and flannels or big t shirts or a plain v neck
