What's your favorite chair lift ?

the Motherload at Red Mountain, BC

plenty of vert, all aspects, everything but true alpine, all from one lift.

peak chair

closer to home: double diamond at stevens pass - so many times I've waited for that bitch to open on pow days.

The number 1 chair on the V8 lift in Perisher, the most comfortable chairlift I have ever ridden. Its like an armchair

Favorite chair.... the single chair at mad river glen.(never skied squaw i know)
most hated chair. at mt hood meadows. there is this chair that they turn on once in a while... its name is BLUE.. fuck blue chair.. go die blue chair. you crusty fuck center pole riblet mother fucker death top terminal of hell.
and pucci at timby can go fuck its self as wel.

As much as I love Peak Chair, I would have to say Glacier Express. Spanky's and access to Blackcomb slackcountry/backcountry being the over-riding factors, also usually less busy and almost always opens before peak.

Pretty easy call. For gondola, the Aiguille du Midi @ Cham:

For chairlift, the Leissieres in Val D'Isere

Haha...sometimes it's nice to just jump on Blue, and not have to wait in line with a bunch of gapers waiting for MHX.

yea sugarbush!

But my favorite lift has to be the gondola at Tremblant because on a bluebird day the views down the mountain are orgasmic

i know... but that mother fucker is crusty and at the top.. you dont fuck around when you get off or your gonna get dropped.... i remember in 2004 for like two week MHX had a problem and was shut down. blue was the only way up............ soo lame!

this one lift in telluride..you get to the top of the ridge and BAM! amazing view followed by even more amazing skiing

my 3 favorites are, the stoke chair, revelstoke (amazing slack country access and inbounds terrain)Saddle Quad, Treble Cone (amazing slackciuntry access and inbounds terrain)Whitestar Express.Cardrona (extremely fast park laps)

Single Bar lifts scare the hell out of me when either

A) You are riding solo

B) The person you are riding with is heavier then you

C) It's Really windy out.

So Sketch when you are a lightweight,

My buddy almost fell of the lift because the arm rest is maybe 2 inches high. That chair is ridiculous but it's pretty close to the ground. On that super steep part you're less than 10 feet off the ground.

The park chair at otsego, super fun to lap and watch people throw down on the lift, and hear them make fun of you when you fall.
