Olympus Zuiko 12-40 f2.8

Panasonic 35-100 f2.8

mavic pro

glidecam hd-2000

sachtler ace

Rode videomic go

I want to pick up some carbon legs for my ace. I'm going to be filming quite a bit of BC this year and want to lighten the setup. Anyone have any recommendations? 3 stage with no spreader is ideal.

Flowtechs are the best CF legs for 75mm heads. 2 stage but 3 stage is gonna cost you more weight than it's worth.

Do you have the standard legs that came with the ace? Those legs are pretty light, idk if carbon 3-stage legs will be lighter.

That being said, get some miller solo DV, 2 stage is certainly big enough, idk if you really need 3 stage. I've been using these legs (or a simialr model) since 2011 and theyre solid as fuck still. You can buy a carbon version for like $200 more, it's 1lb lighter...

dude wtf how have I never heard of this beast...

4320×3240 anamorphic strait to ProRes in-camera is amazing

Yeah it's a beast for sure! I have yet to run and anamorphic glass but I abuse the shit out of the 13+ stops of DR with proresHQ and it's significantly better in low light than any RED camera I have used with the dual native ISO of 800 and 3200.
