OK, shredsauce seems like a cool game and all...but its really lame how people are flooding the whole videos forum with a shots from their game. Its like, they feel like they are awesome at skiing becuase they are good at a video game. SWEET ! Highly doubt the people that are doing triple corks on their video games are actually throwin triple corks out on the hill. Its pretty annoying how this is going on.

Haters can hate all they want on this thread. Most likely gunna be a bunch of 10-15 year olds hatin on me. OUCH. I wanna watch some real action...not some fuckin video game !

Well this should be in Site Discussion. So you're just clogging up Ski Gabber now, Hypocrite.

Its summer newschoolers. When it comes round to winter nobody will be posting the videos but will probably still play it. Its the initial hype during a period of low amounts of real ski edits coming out. Shred sauce edits are the new backyard job set-up edit.

I'd say maybe just categorize them as 'misc' instead of edits.

I dunno.... tough call. People sure are stoked on the game.

yeah, i mean i like watchin a few good edits a day...of some real skiing. dont get me wrong its a cool game...yet i suck...but thats not the point. i say 'misc' is a good idea.

Wow that was a buttload of PMS right there!

Its summer, a great game has come out, you can just skip the videos.

who cares if they cant do that on snow, its a game retard! its all about being in an environment where you can throw down like you cant in real life, thats the fun of it. get off your pedestal and shut the fuck up, this isnt highschool where you just judge everyone because of what they wear or what tricks they decide to throw. your being fucking petty!

im not saying people cant have fun with it, thats not what my thread states. im asking why people feel the need to record their game and post it on the video forum. i mean to me its pretty much the same as playing Halo, recording you game and then posting it. WHO CARES HOW YOU PLAY A GAME. idk maybe this site doesnt have enough girls...lol. video games isnt what i wanna see.

I'm 25, by the way, and I'm hating on you. The reason why the edits are flooding the latest videos is the fact that most of them are labelled under Edits/Jumps/Rails and I agree that's pretty stupid, I put mine under Misc. and it never even showed up - I think that's one of the reasons why the video/photo sections have thrived after the overhaul of media: smaller sections that aren't strictly skiing-related don't often show up in "the feed", making the one living hell of trudging through pages and pages of pics of XXXL Jiberish hoodies a thing of the past.

Another reason is that compared to, say, 2003-2004, when the other big ski game Jiberish/Jibbin came out, it was not as easy as today to first of all download, torrent and set up programs like Fraps or Screenflow in a matter of minutes and make an edit with a good picture quality and a certain level of interest (i.e. realistic-like tricks) with very little trouble and effort.

Third, like said, it's the summer, people are hyped about a great-looking game that immediately catches the eyes of a freeskier when it comes to trick form, rail stance and push style - something many have been looking for and trying to emulate in other videogames like Skate, Amped or even Tony Hawk's for God's sake. And now it's here, to play for free, without any hassle. Gee, gosh, I wonder why people are excited and want to share.

I actually would point out that tonnes and tonnes and tonnes of people record their Halo / COD / whatever gaming experiences and play them on the interwebz.

As a matter of fact, spectator gaming is garnering immense popularity with certain games.

Would I watch a game live on the internet? No. But hey... whatever floats your boat.

I do still think that the main video feed should be about skiing. Stuff like this should go under misc... but there is definitely the logic that its summer, people are bored and its not really hurting anyone.

I'm positive when the winter rush hits, there is going to be a flood of ski videos that will get things back to their usual state of skiing awesomeness.

OP just don't click on the links? NS has been waiting for a ski game for 10+ years and Malcolm was cool enough to make one that's super sick. Hell i've seen so many summer ski edits I find myself watching more shredsauce edits than legit ones.

They are kinda interesting...but almost all the videos are the same. The things I like about real ski edits is that they are so different and unique...well good ones at least. Most real edits offer something different to the viewer
