Whats up with USPS?

Okay, so about 5 months ago I looked through B/S/T, looking for some jiberish and I found "saucey"'s sale and he was selling a Jiberish Royally fitted in XL, I got interested, got to talk to him and asked if he had any more jiberish's and he had a Cross dot red in XXL, I went out buying that one too. He told me he put in tons of stickers and som lanyards and tees etc. THIS GUY IS TO BE TRUSTED I JUST WANT TO EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED. Payed 200 dollars + another 15 for shipping cause USPS told saucey a bit late how much the shipping ACTUALLY was.

He said it would take 5-20 days, shipping with USPS and yes I do live in Sweden. After 25 days I asked him what was up, he didnt actually know and I asked him if he could go to the post office, he did and they said they didnt have any info at that time. He was told to come back 4 days after, he came 5 days after cause he was shipping away some other stuff then too. When he gets there, they tell him that they got the package back. So he took it home, put in some more tees ( cause of the delay ). He waited 1 week and sent it again. Now its been about 6 weeks and it hasnt come yet. And he tells me hes been there many times and they havent been able to answer his questions.

Hes telling the truth and hes a great seller but my QUESTION is: What the fuck is wrong with USPS?
 
Im not that good at posting and sending stuff international neither am I good at english, so if someone here could tell me what to ask him/usps I would give max K :) Going to bed now, THANKS!
 
If there is a tracking number on it, that will be the best way to find the package. Considering it got sent back I would think he would have got a tracking number the second time. If there is no tracking number its going to be up to him to go to the post office and file a claim. They should be able to find the package by the address on it. But it wont be instant. He'll probably have to give them his number and have them call when they track it down. If it gets sent back again he needs to send it fed ex or ups. He should also be able to file a claim for wasted money if it doesnt get shipped. I' once had a package of $1000's worth of paintball gear get lost by usps. Had to file a claim and it took months to get resolved. Eventually I got a check from them for most of the value of the gear.

but seriously, anything over 10 bucks, I ship with delivery conformation and insurance
 
I hate UPS

Ive never had a problem with using canada post

and Ive never had a problem using usps with all the stuff Ive bought from ebay.

just spend a bit more money for the tracking number and insurance.
 
BUMP, well he told me that they couldnt track it when you shipped international, oh shit...

Ill be asking saucey if he could ask USPS to get some of the cash back ( of 215 how much do you think he will get back ) than ill ask if he could ship it with ups
 
I had a similar issue except i was the seller.

i sold a bunch of Zoo York stuff on Ebay and sold a jacket to a kid in Brazil. I made the mistake of sending USPS. they cant track international packages once they reach the customs office of the destination country. on the receipt that i got from the post office there is a customs # on it and that is the # they can use. but they can not give you information like a UPS tracking #. It took about a month for the jacket to get there. luckily the buyer understood. i was just about to refund his money.
