I've been trying to unload a pair of brand new pivots in BST for like 6 months and kids keep dming me asking if I'll take like $150. Like tf do you think this is?

I'm not sure I spent more than $220 for my 15's new from a dealer. Also 130mm brakes are huge and generally the models that get heavily discounted. I'd take the 150 or keep em for a rainy day. Maybe there's people who pay retail for pivots who think it's a good deal but it ain't me.

You can find pivot 12s for 180 and pivot 14s for 250.

they’re probably offering 150 thinking you’ll say 200 which they’d agree to.

50-75 bucks off what they can find retail seems fair

Op you can't expect market value without any discount. They're not gonna be getting a warranty with this. They also don't have the piece of mind that you'll ship promptly, or honor the deal, or package well. So many variables with private sales. Regardless pivots are dirt cheap right now.

Go on Google and show me new 14s for less than $300.

So maybe like $250? NS discount and cuz no warranty. Also black Friday deals coming soon so who knows

i see them for $270 on ebay. i agree $150 is a lowball but you shouldn't expect a TON more. it's a product still being sold so it's just a matter of the value to the buyer of getting them used; you can't be surprised that people don't want to forego the warranty and the guarantee of a legit shop sale without a pretty good cost savings. plus someone said they're B130s? that's a big brake and pivots brakes aren't cheap and easy to swap

just trying to add perspective. no doubt the internet is full of low ballers

Cause you can regularly find pivots for that price. I copped a pair of orange fks 18s never used for 150 over the summer from here lol

Because you can find P14s for cheaper than that online. Maybe not at this exact moment. Also, the brake is huge. Buying from a buyer, as opposed to a shop, is always a bit sketchier when it comes to bindings. You have to factor in all these things. You want a quick sale or more money/sit on it longer?

I really don’t understand why people complain when people lowball them. It’s like none of you have ever worked in a shop or wheeled and dealed. It’s part of selling. You never hear me complain with all the tire kickers and low ballers I get when I sell things do you? No. And I try to be polite to each and everyone of them because I KNOW that you never know the answer until you take your shot and half these people are kids with a small budget. Hell, I even helped a kid download Venmo to sell him skis for a stupid steal because I HAVE BEEN THERE.

Come on, man.

Those are 75 mm

Word, I’m just playing around. But yeah I mean you don’t HAVE to take the lowball. I usually do cause I don’t wanna sit on shit I’m not using.

you know that doesn't matter right? breaks are replaceable.

Brakes are super expensive for pivots...but the 75 will fit many more skis than the 130. There are like two skis in production right now for which you would want the 130mm brake and the 75s have been bent for use on much much wider skis.

Because everybody on this site is a degenerate bum looking for handouts. Sell on eBay or give them away out of the graciousness of your supple heart and still get hate for not giving them away to the people that "needed them"

ya i bought new p14s from a shop website for $210 last winter. if you’re making buyer pay shipping then $150 doesn’t seem far off
