I just checked it out for you. Few things. Newschoolers' does have sponsors such as Liberty, Plehouse, and a number of other companies which pay money to advertise on here. Sponsors like them are one of the main reasons why ns is still even around.

With that in mind, how is it fair to these companies if we allow any and everyone to freely advertise their company on the boards? Newschoolers has no problem whatsoever with helping small companies and individuals who sell things and want to be a part of the ski industry.

But all that we ask is that you run it by one of the admins first. If your company is strapped for cash when it comes to advertising, then just give Bishop/Cko/Nopoles/kamikaze and they can help you figure something out.

If you are an individual just trying to sell a few of your beanies, there's always the classified section.

I realize that it doesn't get as much traffic as the other sections of the site, but that is the appropriate location for it.

I'm sorry about the confusion. Right now there isn't a clear policy and rules posted up. We're working on alot of new features for the site, and that is definitely one of the things that are on top of the list.

 
Just be confident that we're not singling anyone out...it's the same (unwritten) policy accross the board.
